What do I need to plan, select and book a full travel experience on travelplanbooker.com

Please have ready:

passports of all travellers.

For booking your flights, you will require all traveller’s passports, with their passport number and personal information, such as date of birth.

valid credit or debit cards

When planning your trip, you’ll see the cost for transport, accommodation and any activities per person, as well as the total amount. You have full control over your total spend by selecting costs, that suit your budget. Your trip only becomes a fixed booking when fully paid. (Sufficient credit card limit required for booking, also see split payments across multiple cards)

• an e-mail address

• a mobile phone number

Do I need travel insurance?

If you have an annual travel insurance policy, your trip booked with us may be covered and we recommend that you contact your insurance provider. If you do not have an annual travel insurance policy, once you have completed your travel schedule and booked your travel journey with us, you can also cover yourself with a travel insurance policy with our partner. Please see the insurance coverage link in our booking process. Please also be aware that any pandemic is normally not covered by travel insurance.

We provide you with a worldwide travel map. Our planning page with map, route planned, country information and pictures is a comprehensive travel guide. It not only replaces a travel guidebook, but you can choose and select the places to travel to on the map, with the full information available online. The essential travel guide tells you all about the country regulations and the ever present health and safety situation in actual time. You select and book directly with the travel service provider.

Please be aware that all providers use dynamic prices which change frequently and without pre-notice. You therefore are advised to book and pay immediately to not miss out on a good offer. Commissions don’t affect the prices you pay—they remain the same whether you plan, select, book and pay on our site or on booking silo platforms.

Who do you contact in an emergency?

• If it is an accident please contact your insurance company.

• If it is a product related question, please contact the provider in your itinerary.

How do I change the currency and language

Please choose/change your currency and language on the travelplanbooker.com homepage before starting to plan and book your trip, because on the next pages (planning and customise) you’ll be unable to change the currency or language.

How to book baggage?

At the end of your booking process, and within the checkout process you may be able to purchase additional baggage,

How to enter frequent flyer nr. to earn miles?

After receipt of your booking details and booking number from your selected flight carrier, enter your frequent flyer number directly into the carrier’s flight document. Or at the check-in desk, make sure to have your frequent flyer number ready, to submit it with the check-in desk agent. Please be aware that you can earn miles, but not spend or pay for your flights with miles on travelplanbooker.com.

How to select your seat in flights?

After receipt of your booking details and booking number from your selected flight carrier, you can access the flight carrier documents. There you can select your seat, however, usually at an extra cost.

Are their additional taxes

Additional taxes, such as city taxes, may be applicable. These taxes are usually collected by the hotels directly. You will find approximate fees for these charges next to our price summary.

How do I use travelplanbooker.com?

We have created a how to use video for both our generic platform and AI tool. Please watch the video to learn how to get the most out of Travelplanbooker.

How do I start my travel planning, searching and booking?

On the home page you start with creating your own travel itinerary by entering starting departure, date, adults and children participating.

You then plan your entire trip on the following planning page. Alternatively, you can scroll down and choose a pre-planned travel itinerary to your liking.

This pre planned travel selection will bring you to the next page, the planning.
Now you have the opportunity to change destinations by deleting, adding or moving the order of destinations on your itinerary.

Can I share my travel planning, searching and booking with family, friends, others?

You can share your screen with anyone you wish to participate to create and have a great experience to plan, search and book a complete travel journey.  Please share your screen via Teams, Zoom or Google Meet.

Why should I sign/log in and create an account?

You need an account to automatically save your trip. You can then access your trips from other computers and mobile devices. When you’re signed in, you can also collaborate on your trips with others. If you are signing in as the leading booking person, you need to enter data for all travellers in your party especially for flight bookings, but other travellers in the party do not need to create an account.

Can I delete an account?

You have an account to automatically save your trip. You cannot delete your account as long as there is a pending travel scheduled and booked. To cancel your account, please send us an e-mail to backoffice@travelplanbooker.com.

How do I change the planned order of the destinations in my travel itinerary?

You will be able to change the order of destinations by placing your cursor on the itinerary destination on the righthand side on our trip planner page. You can move each destination to change your route order. At the same time you can adjust the days spent in each destination.

How can I delete any of the destinations in my travel itinerary?

Move your cursor to the destination and click on “X” delete button.

How do I add destinations in my travel itinerary?

Move your cursor to any empty destination field at any place in the itinerary and add the destination. You can move now the destination to change your route order.  Move your cursor to the destination you wish to add and then move it up or down in your route itinerary.

My flight date of departure and date of arrival are different

The flight search engine takes into consideration flight duration and time zone changes and therefore will display if the flight is due to land on a different date to the departure date. If needed, you can adjust the departure date of your flight. Once you are happy with your chosen flight dates and times, you can select and book those options.

Can I change or cancel a booked and paid travel journey or part of it?

Your trip is booked with individual service providers that have different terms and conditions per product. If you need to cancel part or all of your booking please contact us and we will advise you accordingly.
